Enduring Every Day
Why So Many Are Suffering with CRS

Millions of people suffer with CRS every day. For the majority of patients who have run out of effective or viable therapies, we believe more can be done to address treatment gaps.

Identifying The Gap
What’s Missing from Current Treatments

Chronic rhinosinusitis, or CRS, is a debilitating inflammatory disease that causes nasal congestion, facial pain and pressure, nasal discharge and loss of sense of smell for approximately 14 million people in the United States.

Patients try multiple approaches to seek CRS symptom relief, including over-the-counter remedies, sinus rinses, and prescribed steroids delivered via nasal spray or oral pills. These approaches are not effective in relieving CRS symptoms for half of the 8 million patients who use them.

4 MILLION CRS PATIENTS FAIL MEDICAL MANAGEMENT
AND HAVE VERY LIMITED TREATMENT OPTIONS

Medical management for CRS does not work for half who try it. Only a small portion turn to sinus surgery.
Patients still suffering with CRS are faced with a treatment gap.

Inside The Lines
A Physician’s Perspective on Current Treatment Challenges

Facing The Facts
The Physical + Emotional Toll of CRS

3 MONTHS
CRS differs from acute sinusitis, which is a temporary viral or bacterial infection of the sinuses.

CRS can have a significant negative impact on quality of life; it has been
compared to living with COPD and congestive heart failure.
